I’d love for a Reformed Protestant Christian to run for a change.

I like Ron Desantis, I like the how he has lead the State of Florida during his tenure, but dude, you make it weird.

Lmao…one would hope that all the downvotes would be our resident liberals but that is doubtful.
MAGA will never fully embrace DeSatis because doing so would admit that that actually prefer results over being whiny, bitchy little girls.

Ron listened to someone that told him to run against Trump...
...the result was he got his arse kicked.
He has been a great Florida governor but he should have waited.

Too many knee jerk reactions. Marco or JD for me.

Lmao….so? I have to wonder at the intelligence of people who claim this as a disqualifying thing.
Meanwhile, Trump listened to someone who said it was an awesome idea to go into Iran without first securing the the SOH. And he is getting his arse kicked politically, fractured the movement, and probably lost the midterms as a result.
But Trump is never judged with such scrutiny. It’s weird.

If he's good at what he does, keep him where r he is.

He's term limited. Sucks balls.

I think an open primary will be good for the Rep party. But I will came down to JD or Rubio IMO.

I like DeSantis.
That said, getting results in a single state that’s red when you’re a red governor is a whole different ballgame than wrangling 50 states.
As amazing as he is, they’d treat him the same damned way as they treat Trump if he were president.

He won his first term when we were a "purple" state. We almost got a gay drug addict instead.
Because of what he did here, his second term he won by 20 points. DeSantis is the reason we became so red.

I remember that. Y’all dodged a serious bullet.

I don’t disagree. He is a fantastic governor and Florida is lucky to have him.
He would still face the constant roadblocks as president that Trump does- maybe, possibly, a smidge less… but mostly the same. Hell, maybe MORE what with DSA becoming a mainstream thing.

I mean, yes it’s easier to getting done. But if it was “so easy”, why weren’t these things done prior to DeSantis?
The reality is that DeSantis turned Florida from a purple state into the reddest state in the country through good policy and good laws.
Hopefully Donald’s won’t frick it up.

I do not trust that cat. I’d almost rather have Casey and I hate girl bosses.
