I will not try to explain it to you because you don't want a serious conversation. What you think you are doing is "educating". You aren't.

In 1955 a house, on average, was $7,900. The average family made $4,400.
In 2024, the average sold home was $512,000 and the average pay was $62,000.

You simply want to hold on to your wrong belief and no amount of telling you what's wrong with that belief will change your belief.

Level playing fields don’t exist and we’re not going to make every US industry or ag product viable. It would crash the economy.

There really is no such a thing. People see the playing field in different ways, its their perception.

I don’t advocate for tariffs. I advocate for using tariffs as leverage to secure America’s foreign interests.

He who drives demand will win the tariff war. Smaller economies cannot survive without American demand.

US taxpayers

In the reference of Tariffs, these people should be referred to as sovereign citizens of the States.

They should pay no federal income taxes

The federal government can only spend what they collect from tariffs

The Fed Gov cannot impose protective tariffs

I do most of my work in international B2B...we have been getting screwed for decades.

Both Republicans and Democrats have ignored our calls for reciprocity tariffs.

ONLY TRUMP listened...only Trump.

USA companies paid around $350 billion in tariffs in 2024. USA collected around $55 billion in tariffs.

Real simple. Charge a tariff, so will USA. End a tariff, so will USA.

It ain't rocket surgery

You know why you pay more for medications than most countries in the world. Because they control and demand lower prices. The drug companies to make profits charge US consumers astronomical prices.

See how that works.

Because the chinese govt subsidizes the industry until they take out the competitors. Then the bitches decided to avoid the tariff, build in Mexico, and Trump said we will tariff your arse there as well and they stopped, full stop.

I actually think our tariffs should be higher.

Think about domestical retail. You think Wal Mart pays the same as your local grocer. No because they are the largest customer, they get the best price.

Ergo, the US is the largest market in the world, you should pay more to enter it.

It comes down to is the US being treated fairly in the “tariff” world.
Now do currency. Why should the US have such a strong currency that makes importing goods an economic advantage?

Are we paying more than our share with International matters?

For NATO and other military operations… sure! But we aren’t going to pay for that with tariffs. And worse the tariffs will be paid by US consumers.

Is there federal govt waste?
So give them more tax revenue?

It's similar when leftists argue that taxing corporations does not tax people.
Combines with some broken window theory “we’ll all have more money to spend if we overpay for domestic goods!” And a bit of minimum wage as bonus (they are both price floors).

It’s entertaining to watch.
