I don’t understand the whole “you don’t care about people if you don’t get this” attitude. If you have it and are protected then why do you care if I get it or not

There are people who would love to take the vaccine if they could, but may be too old or sick to do so. Also, some take the vaccine but it doesn't work well because they are immunosuppressed ie cancer patients. So for those folks, it wasn't a "choice" not to take it. Therefore, vaccines or not, it would be real nice if there was less virus around to infect them.

Whether that motivates you to vaccinate or not is up to you.

I guess it boils down to whether you'd prefer to get immunity protection from a vaccine or whether you'd like to take your chances of infection

You're right about this, and it should be a choice. COVID is ridiculously overplayed and not everybody should be expected to buyin. Moreover, a lot of people simply aren't fans of pumping shite into their body for the fun of it. I would have zero problem being vaccinated for something I perceived as a threat.

You would think the concept of herd immunity was invented by communists in China who travelled back in time to the 1920s just to spread such "propaganda" in order to weaken their enemies.

Or it’s how we’ve evolved for hundreds of thousands of years without doing a damn thing.

Spot on

I don't think anything will motivate these low IQ misanthropes

Well, frick, you've convinced me, then.

I would like to revise and extend my comments - I have already had the disease. I will consider getting the vaccine once I'm convinced that 100% of the vulnerable population has received the vaccination and that includes all the minority population so at risk, as well as *ahem* "recent arrivals". Until then, I'm checking my privilege and deferring any advantage my whiteness offers and decline to get the vaccination in solidarity with those underserved and historically repressed communities.

Yeah, screw immunology and vaccines! If waves of death by plague and pestilence was good enough for our ancestors it should be good enough for us!

There is a poster in this thread too stupid for words.

Also, is this finally an admission that masks do not work....you know... because if they did....

Let’s start with that admission and then discuss the next step

Unmistakable signature of the indoctrinated: equating skepticism and rational self examination of logical inconsistencies with stupidity.

Because the high IQ people understand there is no difference between a 30% mortality rate and a 0.2% mortality rate.

only the j and j stops the spread.

the mRNA only reduces the impact to the person.
they can still get it and pass it.

At this point, you have to be incredibly stupid to not know what herd immunity is, or how it is achieved.

There’s a difference between those viruses we vaccinate people for when they are kids and Covid. Do you know what it is?

No, that is stated on the CDC website, it has been linked on this board countless times.
