Can some one give me a dumb down version of this Liz Cheney thing?

Is this just another example or a rino or something else? Every time I look into it, it shows two sides of the story.

The House Republicans are gearing up for campaigning next year. In other words, they’re fundraising. It’s not going well because they have too many people in the party inside the beltway who are more concerned with distancing the party from Trump than they are fighting Marxism and socialism.
In short, Cheney was making it harder to fundraise.
Remove her, get back to playing the “Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie” trick on the Republican Party.
