Largest police presence I’ve ever seen. Must have seen 100 police vehicles from Gulfport to Biloxi city limits blocking off most entrance streets and blue lights every 40-80 feet. I saw many colorful cars (whips)…the weather was quite horrible for this time of year, but the revelry was abundant. Many cars pulled over, but most drivers clearly dindu nuffin…(clear racial profiling).

I’m staying in Gulfport for a sports tournament. Booking a room made it look like the place was sold out, but upon arrival, the hotel said they were at 70% capacity.
From Gulfport, things are remarkably quiet. The police presence seems excessive, but they might be like this for the big car weekends.
