Lol. Trust him with his articles instead of live hearings from our govt. I was watching specifically when they said that.

I'll have to read up on today's hearing.

But this is the real accounting of the money: the 9894 Russian vehicles and pieces of equipment that have now been visually document as destroyed, damaged, or captured.

LINK

That's the evidence that our money is generating results that support our national security, by severely damaging the military that has thousands of nukes aimed at us.

1) Most of the money is not going to Ukraine.
So, $$$ is spent in America that creates jobs, and our military gets stronger at the same time.

Our military isn't getting stronger by any stretch of the imagination.

2) Russia is very much our enemy.

Russia has zero effect on my life, the US government is the enemy.

The war in Ukraine is revealing Russian brutality and inhumanity. The mass rapes and murders of Ukrainians, the systemic kidnapping of over 17,000 Ukrainian children, etc. Recently, it's been revealed that a number of the torture centers that Russia set up in occupied Ukraine had the exact same electroshock machines, indicating that the torture chambers were part of a systematic plan.

90% of that is complete bullshite, open your eyes. I used to believe this garbage too for a couple months.

quote:

A Russian victory in Ukraine would encourage China in its designs on taking Taiwan

China has already made up it's mind on Taiwan and it's not changing. They probably won't even have to fire a shot. They're also turning much of the non-western world against us at a remarkable rate.

quote:

Iran's military program is growing substantially as a result of this war, and new reports suggest that Iran could build a nuclear weapon in as little as three months.

That has nothing to do with this war. Thanks Obama

and they are pulling T-54s out of storage, which were first made in 1948.

They're not going to use T-54s in Ukraine, it's a nice narrative though.

quote:

Russian losses will get much higher as the conflict goes on

Since the first month, Russia has largely kept their more elite forces out of the fray, while Ukraine has lost the majority of their best troops.

quote:

At the end of this war, Russia will be a spent force

Russia hasn't been a real threat to the US in a conventional war for decades. However, a destabilized Russia is a very real threat to the US.

I appreciate you taking the time to thoughtfully respond like this but most of these talking points are straight from the most incompetent (& diverse!) administration in American history, used to justify a proxy war that we have no business being a part of. The amount of weapons flooding into Ukraine are going to turn this region into a warzone for the next 20 years and many civilians will die because of it.

Here’s a brilliant idea! Let’s use that money to home our veterans on the street, protect the border, put bulletproof glass on our schools windows and doors, and build back the military

There is no proof, none, zero, zip, nada, zilch, nil, none, nothing...that if we were to stop spending on Ukraine Biden would say.

"Okay, no more for Ukraine, now let's seal the border".

There is no proof, none, zero, zip, nada, zilch, nil, none, nothing...that he would do that.

He would say

"Okay, no more for Ukraine, now let's pay reperations to descendants of slaves"

or

"Okay, no more for Ukraine, now remember how I wanted to forgive loans for kids in college at 10,000...we have some money extra now, so let's pay back more, let's pay back 30,000"

or

"Okay, no more for Ukraine, now free Dental for one and all under Obamacare"

There is no evidence that if given the money Biden would have even the slightest interst in doing border security with it.

He'd probably do reparations.

Your link has nothing detailing the accounting of how and where our money is being spent in Ukraine.

“We blew up a bunch of Russian tanks” isn’t an accounting

They choose to support the evil nazi's because they think the nazi's that took over the sovereign nation Ukraine are good people. They think they are good people because they are ignorant of the truth. They are sheeple. They believe what they have been told to believe.

What’s nuts is you obsessing over Russia while your odds of being a victim of a violent crime by the adherents of the party you blindly vote for are several orders of magnitude greater.

they still think we have ben the good guys and none of them went to go get blown up by allah in the desert.

None of them cared when we shipped weapons to south america, or droned women in children in the ME, unless it was a jew killing a muslim.

Now, all the anti-Americanism is on the Right. People who tell you that the real enemy isn't the country with thousands of nukes pointed at you -- no, it's some of your fellow Americans that you have a political disagreement with.

That's just as sick and perverted when the Left did it -- people who hate their nation while calling themselves patriots.

When Vice President Kamala Harris compared January 6th to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor it was not an accident. In both of those tragic attacks on our country, unlimited power was granted to the government to detain, imprison, investigate, and convict citizens for their perceived ideology.

They don’t realize they’re caught up in the same kind of authoritarian overreach because they have convinced themselves that the so-called “insurrection” was driven by “white rage.” Looking back twenty years from now all of this will be easier to parse - how fear drove our government to go to war with its own people.

Is Russia weakening our military, turning the country against Christians, stealing elections, controlling the propaganda that is American news, trying to take my guns, forcing us into lockdowns, firing Americans from their jobs for not getting vaccinated, I could go on for days. Please tell me what impact Russia has on our everyday lives?

Has Russia flung our Border wide open?

Is Russia currently trying to ban your right to bear arms?

Was it Russians who went into a school the other day and killed some Christians?

Is Russia pushing tranny and groomer ideology?

Is Russia calling for defunding and dismantling the police?

Is it Russia’s policies that have turned American cities into 3rd world cesspools of crime and violence?

Was it Russians who literally tried to burn the country down during 2020’s ‘summer of love’?

Are Russians the people weaponizing the Federal bureaucracy against conservatives?

I don't hate my country, I hate the people running it. If you can't legitimately look at this country and see that it's rotting from the inside out, I don't know what to tell you. Russia is a distraction from our real problems, you took the bait.

That's the beauty of our assistance to Ukraine: it also has no impact on your daily life.

Ukraine is defeating the enemy of America without any American lives being lost.

Russian weapons, including the thousands of nukes aimed at us, could have an impact on your everyday life, though, and our assistance to Ukraine helps prevent that. Our help to Ukraine preserves your everyday life.

Weakening them is absolutely a great idea. If Ukraine were to lose this war, a lot of other countries would conclude that possession of nuclear weapons is the only way to deter aggression. Ukraine, as we already discussed, gave up its nukes in 1994 in exchange for protection guarantees.

A Ukrainian loss would be very bad for nuclear proliferation, and we don't want a world with lots more countries having nuclear weapons.

Uh, I obviously agree, but is this some kind of mantra that you have to repeat to yourself or something? Are you insecure about your manhood?

Because I don't see how that pertains to the discussion.
