You should because he's the middle man in a massive influence peddling scheme involving his father who happens to be the current POTUS.

That’s a bit disingenuous. It wasn’t merely just asking for cooperation. Dems were hung up that he delayed congress approved funds in exchange for cooperation. Quid pro quo.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Isn’t that where he said “you don’t get the billion” and was laughing about it at a press conference?

Of course not. Groomers never care when their guy is doing corrupt things. It’s only an issue for you when you think a Republican is doing corrupt things.

Chill out, Nancy. You can talk About whatever you want. Perhaps I should have been more clear. Bringing up points that have nothing to do with what two folks are talking about doesn’t strengthen arguments.

Argument: It’s disingenuous to say that Trump “merely” requested cooperation.

What VP Biden said years prior does not strengthen that argument that Trump “merely” requested cooperation IMO.

At the end of the day, this argument is blown out of proportion.

You really have a way of writing nonsense.

One is the actual and one isn’t? Wtf does that mean? And what bearing does this distinction have?

You may not care about hunter, but congress impeached trump for asking questions about him. That’s what the question is being asked about

Right, The Call was never about the crack head. It was about the corruption of The Biden Crime Family.
Thus the need to Raid Trumps Home and trying to keep him out of the WH.
They know he can torch the Swamp.

certainly not referencing his character or principles.

it is just that he usually doesn't sound this incoherent. If it was anyone else, I wouldn't have wasted time responding. I take no pleasure in tormenting the truly stupid.

I do loath those who choose to use whatever intellectual gifts they have for evil purposes, however.

There wasn't any legitimate non-nefarious purpose for the President of the United States to ask the President of Ukraine to investigate the son of his political rival for potential (non-existent) crimes before an election.

Wait, release of bioweapons is non-nefarious..

Sounds like George Soros children

So are you saying that it's okay for family members of politicians to commit crimes before an election because the only reason they would be investigated is for nefarious reasons?

It's not okay for anyone to commit crimes at any time, regardless of political affiliation. But it's also not the President's purview to withhold aid to an ally contingent on another country investigating his political rival's son.

What does Bioweapons have to do with Trump asking Ukraine to investigate the Bidens? I’ve never heard that? Link? Maybe I am misunderstanding ?

Trump was impeached for requesting another sovereign entity look into it.

Biden's DOJ is actively pursuing charges against the presumptive nominee who will face Biden in 2024.

So, you would have been cool with Trump firing up an investigation against Biden actual "The Big Guy"? I don't recall you opposing the impeachment, but I might have missed it.

And thanks so much for finally coming out of the closet and admitting you're a Dem jackass.

Except that he got that job only because he was the son of the sitting VP of the United States, this is in addition to the children of a few members of Congress getting similar sweetheart deals. This was definite evidence of likely quid pro quo (enough to warrant an investigation), especially with Biden's own admission of using US funds to extort the Ukrainians into firing the prosecutor looking into Burisma and Hunter's role there.

So right off the bat your assertion is wrong if you are trying to contrast it with the raid on MAL, especially with the FBI taking Trump's passports (which can, in no way, be related to any classified documents) and now fighting tooth and nail to keep the affidavit from being released.

quote:

There is a legitimate reason for the Department of Justice to want to secure stolen documents that pertain to the national security and defense of the country.

But not the emails of a former Secretary of State being housed on her private and unsecured server? Nor the active DoD encryption codes on the laptop of the son of the former VP (and now current President)?

If you don't see the discrepancy between application of the law to high-ranking Republicans versus how it's applied to high-ranking Democrats, then you are purposely ignoring it.

if biden is guilty of crimes have at.

I didn't follow the Ukraine topic once I felt like neither side was fully forthcoming.
consider that McConnell prevented Bolton from testifying in impeachment 2.

to me its two sets of monsters squabbling.

reminds me of Mrs Clinton story. reminder: I was for arresting her as soon as the server issue was known.
