That statement is true. Can't imagine being miserable enough to be offended by it.

Arguably there is a lot of drinking. So there's that.

Casinos are pretty much the only thing left after marijuana made peyote obsolete, and Sports started crucifying all the good Indian remnants of team names and mascots, so.....Casinos!!!!!Which were never “Indian “......

His statement is true.

Other than the many place names throughout the land, and a couple of dozen commonly used words (tobacco, squash, tepee, wigwam, powwow, etc.) there really is surprisingly little Native American influence in modern American culture.

Of course it’s true. And everywhere we try to honor or continue the American Indian culture we get accused of demeaning it.

The Left literally can’t have it both ways but that is what they want.

* also, how is Rick Santorum on CNN? I guess his brand of conservatism is so unappealing to the right that they can get away with it?

No need to be like the left and pretend to be appalled.

He shouldn’t have said it. Oh well. He said it.

I mean, it's kind of a dickish thing to say, but yeah...how much of modern American culture is linked to American Indians? In fact, all of the things which I'd point to have either been taken away (Sports team names) or are on the chopping block to be removed, or are considered cultural appropriation of white people do them.

That'd wrong.

When we see something we like, we go take it, just like the natives did.

Thank Tecumseh Sherman for that. Killing millions and millions of buffalo to starve them out pretty much eliminated what might have been extended influence out west.
