Here's some truth bombs
Libs want to play the "shitty project that caused problems" card?
A shitty project done by a black kid studying white privilege would NEVER be banned no matter how pissed the white kids were.
A horribly done project by a female studying the pay gap and asserting it is entirely due to sexism would NEVER be banned
A horribly done project done by the child of an illegal immigrant claiming those who want to deport illegals are racists would NEVER be banned
This story is again 100% about banning inquiry in an area deemed off limits by liberals
Otherwise, they proper response is to tell the kid how he could improve the project
But the left doesn't want him to improve it. They want it hidden

I actually think this project was wildly successful and expertly set up albeit accidental
The kid's project could have been titled
A study into the unequal treatment of ideas based upon who puts forth the ideas
Conclusion to come after the fair. LOL

i don't like using the "race and IQ" example b/c it's icky and i do believe lots of the liberal explanations for the data
a better example is evolutionary biology/psychology that they hate b/c it explains sex differences in humans. much less controversial and much more science/real data because they developed the field before the feminists realized what was going on

IQ is much more malleable and able to be developed than those who rely on this argument like to believe
even things like food (our brains need the proper proteins and carbs) matter. poor areas do not have access to proper nutrition pretty much universally. poor areas do not have excess energy/resources to devote to things like reading (Which is a major, and i mean major, aspect of IQ development)
also, there is a bias in our testing (think the reading/language issue but in action)
now, do i blame colonialism for these issues? frick no, because these areas were even worse prior to colonialism
but, do i think that if we transplanted people with 85s on Western IQ tests from BFE in Congo and then immersed them in Western culture/values, in a few generations you'd see a relatively normal distribution of IQs

well it's not just that. it's "icky" for a varietyof reasons
1. racists, and i mean the real ones, LOVE this argument. when you're arguing on the same side of racists you have to be careful
2. it's kind of fricked up to basically doom a population to the outskirts of society when they don't have any control over the status. yeah it's easy to say that people with 80 IQs are fricked, but it's much different to actually imagine what that means for their lives

Unless his stats are done correctly it is kind of dumb of the kid to do such an inflamatory project. I doubt his teacher could even do the stats right though.
