While federal parks are managed by the park service, they have to abide by the state within their located, Local EPA regulations. Sorry if that gets in the way of your talking points.

Nearly 60% of California Forest are under federal management and 2/3rds of California’s Forest are under private control.

Now, I freely admit that I’m no mathematician. But I do believe that 60% plus 66.66% = 126.66%

How is there 126.66% of forest land in California?

Now, if he means that 60% of the forest are in public control and 2/3rds of the remaining 40% are in private control, who is in control of the remaining 13.33%? Aliens?

what they do clean focuses on residential areas, the same areas that have burned previously and they allow people and developers to rebuild....KNOWING it will burn again...then blame it on global warming. And the insurance cost is spread amongst all the homeowners of cali, not the people who are rebuilding in the same friggin spots.

Are you saying the government should be more stringent in regulating development?

Would it have been contained if there had been thinning outside of the national forest? I have no clue. But I don’t think the point is hat all fires will be eliminated...just that they won’t be nearly as bad. Right?

I have worked and am working the fires as we speak. 12 hours in 12 hours off. This guy is California Democrat grandstanding. No one out here is thinking about Trump at this time.

As the Governor (Jerry Briwn) about all tax dollars that have not been spent on a 12 year drought. Yet, he has spent Billions on a bullet train.

Before man had the technology to intervene forest fires burned until there was no fuel left for the fire, it was nature's way to provide a new start and rebirth for the flora-fauna...., nature always wins. It like there's something beyond man that knows what's required for balance.

Right. He’s essentially saying that he can’t do the basic job he’s been given unless he gets more gov money every year.

Typical Cali lib mentality.
