ran a stop sign.

I had 3 runners run a stop sign in front of me yesterday in pitch black with zero reflective gear on. When I went to finally pass them several cars were coming from the opposite direction so I had to wait patiently while those cars passed. I could have turned on my brights but I refrained.

What I didn’t do was hit them with my car, get out and stab them claiming privilege. Lost his mind because he had been gaslighted.

Or you know, you could have WATCHED the actual video from the cameras at the intersection, it’s in the link. Traffic at intersection stopped, you can see the opposite flow has the right of way at the turn signal, doesn’t matter as this POS went full speed through the middle lane passed multiple stopped vehicles. The bicyclist was waylaid, can’t even imagine that a stabbing was necessary as the coup de’ Gras. You disingenuous sack of shite.

Another ridiculous take by one of the resident autists.

quote:

Dr. Michael Mammone, 58, was riding a bicycle on scenic Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point when a Lexus struck him from behind around 3 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff's Department said. The driver of the car, identified as Vanroy Evan Smith, 39, of Long Beach, struck Mammone and then got out the vehicle and attacked him with a knife, authorities said.

When deputies arrived, they found Mammone lying in an intersection with "severe injuries," authorities said.

Witnesses said the suspect struck the bicyclist and proceeded to stab the victim at least once in the back, FOX Los Angeles reported. The suspect then allegedly pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds before he was disarmed by two passersby.

That wasn't difficult at all.

There’s actually video of it.

He was stopped at a stoplight.

The driver ran the stoplight and ran right over the back of the cyclist.

But Hank says he doesn’t speculate.

Best guess? I’d hate for evidence to embarrass you.

Insecure people do that a lot. They try to believe only what is contrary to what everyone else is saying, which is a bad way to form beliefs. It's good to question, but there is a world of difference between imagining how a situation could be different and believing that's how it must've happened.

Did this guy target the victim? Is this going to be a pissed off patient or family member? ER doc cut off somebody’s pain meds?

During most of their propaganda campaign.. the third Reich didn't tell people to attack or kill Jews. They just spent years blaming Jews for everything bad in Germany...and whipped the population into a frenzy, so the people started acting on their own to attack Jews.

Here, again, he’s perfectly fitting himself into my amateur psychological profile. He sees the board take a position on the interaction between the car driver and the cyclist. So he takes the opposite.

I’m not sure what the diagnosis is, but I’m sure it involves many visits to the psychiatrist for medication management.

It was broken down very simply the other day. Figure out the position the majority of the forum will probably take, argue the opposite. Even if you agree with the larger issue you find some angle you can take issue with. It’s not any more complicated than that.

Boom, I saw the video. The motorist clearly was going after the cyclist, so I ask myself "why?" Nothing in the video answers that question, so I brainstorm.

Did the Black motorist see a bicyclist from half a block away, decide that the cyclist was White and beome overwhelmed with hatred of Whitey to the extent that he felt compelled to attack and kill someone that he had never seen before that instant? Some sort of a Pavlovian reaction to White cyclists?

Or was there some event off-camera (probably comparitively-minor) immediately beforehand that inflamed this motorist to (badly) overreact and attack this cyclist?

The majority here seem to think that the former supposition is a more reasonable explanation for the motorist's actions, but it strikes me as being less likely than something like the event that I suggested as an alternative possibility.

Perhaps time and other video will eventually answer these questions.

Bass, you are partially correct.

When I see the majority of the Board analyzing a fact pattern and reaching a REASONABLE conclusion, you seldom hear from me. When I see the Board approaching unanimity on an inherently UNREASONABLE conclusion, I chime in.

Because I only choose to enter the discussion when the majority seems to have lost its mind, you infer that I ALWAYS disagree with the majority. You are mistaken.

Speculation aside, w2hat is clear is that we have created a political climate where white people are generally despised, seen as the root of all evil in the world, and are deserving of punishment

It is an interesting question, certainly. But we don't really know enough to draw definitive conclusions at this point.

The question in my mind at this point is whether the initial attack was race-related in any way or whether the motorist was just pissed about some traffic issue (independent of race) and then started spewing racial hatred once the assault had commenced.

At this point, we just don't know.
