About half of those shouldn't need senate confirmation
These should just be hired positions, or not exist.

Part of the swamp. He may do exactly what Trump says, but his name was on the list. If it's proven, he needs to face the consequences.

After the Patel confirmation, the Senate worked on the budget until almost 4 AM CST, mostly rejecting Democrat amendments. The next session will be 2:00 PM CST Monday to consider the nomination of Daniel Driscoll, of North Carolina, to be Secretary of the Army.

There are four Cabinet level nominees to go, according to the list on whitehouse.gov: Secretary of Education, U S Trade Representative, U N Ambassador, and Secretary of Labor.
The Senate is currently voting to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jamieson Greer, for U S Trade Representative.

Daniel Driscoll confirmed as Secretary of the Army, 66-28. Not a Cabinet level position, but of interest to some.
