She definitely lied in her book about Beryl. Why lie about that?
Someone on line claims they found a childhood photo of Beryl and the child was probably white, but maybe light skinned mixed. As you could imagine the quality of the pic is poor, but it’s clearly not a black child.

Joe Brown also said that Donald Harris denied his black ancestry professionally for his entire career.
He claimed to be “Hindu”.
Looks like the nut didn’t fall far from the tree.

Why is Harris publishing pictures with "the help" and passing them off as her relatives?

She looks like one of the Fly Girls that danced on the In living Color comedy show made by the Wayans.

They've actually outlined her genealogy. She's 1/8th, or 12.5% black.
That's it. Just a smidge. And I believe it was black Irish.
Some genealogist laid it all out on Twitter (in a neutral manner; wasn't a hit piece).
Yeah but Candace is saying she's lying about or at least misrepresenting this one black ancestor

She definitely is. It’s been looked at by several ancestry wonks on social media. Beryl died before Kamala was born, so that woman in her book isn’t Beryl.

There were plenty of girls who looked like her at LSU and Southern in the 1980s. Do you not realize how many mixed race people there are? As to their descendants, some stay mixed, some become white and most become black. It is really a matter of orientation.
Kamala has every right to identify how she wants to. It makes no difference to me. I won’t vote for her but I’d date her.
I don’t understand these weird tangents some Rs gravitate towards when it comes to black presenting politicians. Just focus on their policies and voting record.

Actual black people are the ones bringing it up.

my family moved to the river parish region in 1750, and I am sure that I got as many black genes as Kamala. It was a close neighborhood then.

The issue is she identifies as black, but there has been no proof she has any African ancestor's.
What makes it even worse is that she has been a big pusher of the narrative that America is systemically racist, yet her family apparently owned thousands of slaves.

Candace finds more sorted family history.

They talked about that on here 4 years ago, but it was debunked when they found his college records from University of California.
Was that like the President of Harvard and her Resume?

Why? She is the one that is now going around trying to imply she is black.
It's my understanding she is at most, 17% black. .

I think she does have some black ancestry, but reality is probably only 1/8 to 1/16 black. Pictures of her dad seem to indicate some black ancestry, but he may only be a 1/4 black at most.

Yes, huge issues that truly matter
