My problem is he is smart enough to know how to phrase what he wanted to say so that people on the right could agree.

Perhaps he made a mistake with his words.

People say silly stuff all the time like “you are a cuck” and “you voted for Kamala”.

That’s an indication of not being able to express themselves properly.

I am afraid Vivek is too smart for that. So is that how he really feels. Just something to watch. I just don’t want Trump surrounded by snakes again. It will be crushing to his agenda (most of which I support).

Is it broken because of work culture or social culture? If it’s work culture Europe must be riddled with shite holes because they demand a lot more from their work environments whereas North Korea, China and India must have the best work cultures on the globe due to the lack of their worker demands?

I think a lot of you Ron supporters during the primaries deserve a lot of credit for signaling the Vivek warning signs during the primary.

Warning signs?

They were a bit more than that, and recognizing it has nothing to do with whether or not one supported DeSantis in the primary. Unfortunately supporting Trump DID have a big impact on whether or not people believed Vivek. He sucked up to orange so he must be legit seems to be the depth of the thought process.

He was never going to be elected to anything. His role was always going to be as an adviser. That won't change.

While true, I’m not convinced that’s what happened here. I’m afraid Vivek said what he meant.

Vivek screwed up.

And tbe biggest way he screwed up is not doing his job (DOGE), and not staying in his lane.

DOGE isn't a platform for him and Elon to just extemporaneously spout off.

DOGE... Department of Govenment Efficiency.

What does doge have to do with it? Did they post something on the official doge x account? I may have missed that.

Where is the dividing line.

How many people in the US are on welfare? Is that work or social culture?

He called out social culture to me, FWIW.

Its broken because we're fat, lazy slobs who prefer entertainment to anything meaningful.

People just arent very competitive anymore. They want security over risk and adventure.

The dishonesty in spinning this melt by one MAGA faction melting over another MAGA faction not joining in, creating this schism over which is the true MAGA, as somehow being manufactured by former RDS supporters is...interesting.

You ought to read Sundance’s take on this current situation. He anticipated the divide between the MAGA base and Big Tech to happen but not on this timeline. His predicted timeline was 1 to two years into the Trump administration, not before Trump is even sworn into office.

BTW, this push pull between corporate management and labor is a tale as old as America itself. It just has a MAGA flavor in this iteration.

I think he's likely done.

He hasn't really done anything to begin with except take a scam company public then dump the stock for billions.

Sure, he could come back, but I'm not seeing it right now.

I have said this since 2016.

You can't have a Republican-ish party based around labor.

Big Tech is just the latest industry to have to deal with the cognitive dissonance.

Because MAGA pretends it can blend the 2 populations

There is a reason the 2 were separated naturally by GOP/DEM representation for 100 years.

Shouldn't this imply that we should "grow up" and be better? (Admittedly this is a pie in the sky viewpoint)
