I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it will take more than Maxwell’s word to get a conviction.
I’d be shocked if Trump opens himself up to another wave of rhetorical attacks by pardoning her, unless they are sitting on a massive smoking gun.

The people who would automatically think the deal would be dirty already have their minds made up about the existence of that same “dirt” anyway. So for all intents and purposes, they’re persona non grata insofar as the need to reason with or convince them of anything.

Yes, but the points remain & you still need more than a witness to get a conviction.
