In theory … couldn’t Texas build a wall on state land ? You can come into the US but not into Texas. What would stop that from happening ?

In theory? Yes. Until the feds take them to court over who has the right to protect the border.

The floating barrier has caused the feds to have the vapors. Can you imagine an actual wall? Even IF cost wasn’t an issue.

Wouldn't an electric fence work just as well for less money?

Wouldn’t a sentry posted every 100 yards and paid 50$ an ear be just as good!

Did you watch the Tucker, Ken Paxton interview from last night? The Bushes and Karl Rove don't want the border protected. Nor, elections or anything good for our nation.

Yep. Bull sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their head. Bull sharks can make it pretty far inland. Maybe not to El Paso, but I think they can live and feast on into Laredo at a minimum.

80% of REPUBLICAN Congressmen don’t want to slow down illegal immigration.

Their Chamber Of Commerce backers want open orders to drive wages down.

And those people pay Republican congressmen more than their salary. Much, much more.

That’s a very small percentage of land.

In Texas, the border is a river; 95% of the adjoining land (about 1,200 miles) is privately owned—by far the highest percentage of privately owned land of the states along the border. Additionally, Texas isn’t like the other border states, where the feds own a 60-foot strip of land along the U.S.-Mexico divide. Patrolling the RGV presents challenges unique to Texas. Fedgov, however, prefers a one-size-fits-all, broken approach to border enforcement.

80% of Republicans will not stop immigration because Stopping immigration isn't good for the economy.

Their are too many businesses that do not care who buys their goods. Coke, Pepsi, Frito Lay, McDonalds, Walmart and so on. Consumers are consumers.

Further more how much does Walmart and other benefit from Food Stamps and WIC. That is a far cry from the government giving you a block of butter and some cheese.

Only if Mexico pays for it.

That's what we were promised.

Wall may help but there needs to be a militarized border and shoot to kill orders that’s what it’ll take to stop this madness. War is hell and it is upon us

What about Think,

Build a fence inside Texas land by 5 feet hallway type of strip and make them walk to New Mexico for real entry. But on Texas land, they don’t even get water.
