Build a new ‘American’ canal instead of a border wall.

Dream come true for Caterpillar and mining companies.

@David_13_x
I did the math, based on what it cost to build the Panama Canal, this would cost somewhere a bit north of $550 billion

Or roughly half the next aid package for Ukraine

The pollution from our trucks alone could melt the caps and fill Trump Canal.

We shouldn’t have stopped at the Rio Grande 150 years ago.

Reservation Casinos in Belize, Honduras, etc. would be all the rage right now.

Yes actually, it is. Obviously OP is a joke, but outside of going through lake Nicaragua, we picked the best location for the canal.

Then we just……gave it to the Chinese because Jimmy Carter is a nice guy.

Yeah I don't see any flaws. Reserving my spot for a Galveston to Seattle Cruise.

And if it’s seawater make sure great whites are stocked in it. And salt water gators.

I'm guessing his point was that we (states and feds) would have spent far less money on illegals than we would have to just cut a canal and fill it with sharks/mines/gators.

That would cost more than 550 billion in my opinion.

And could you imagine how much easier it would be to get people and drugs into the U.S.?

So many more opportunities.

What’s dumb is sending billions to Ukraine and not being able to track a single cent.
