This would probably make it worse. Forgiveness is even more rare than remorse these days.
They may have to sell to various brands (i.e. Kirkland, TJs, or even to smaller brewers) to keep the product moving until they bring out a new brand and/or the chatter dies.

I truly think they need to pull Bud Light from the market and rebrand in 18 to 30 months (not that Platinum or Select have been particularly successful, need to throw money at branding savants to solve this) to save your overall portfolio.

Was at a bar Saturday night and they sold out of Coors Light. Never heard of anyone ever selling out of Coors Light!

Considering all the unsold shite they are having to buy back plus everything else still in the pipeline, they will balk at that.
Problem for them is that the cost gets that much worse as they continue to generate the same amount they always did for about 66% of the sales they used to have.
