They are playing around with malleable definitions of 'words' - they have rejected the role of dictionaries - or for that matter ANY manifestation of truth/fact.
to the new left progstains - the language MUST be like a chameleon because NOTHING they believe in can be reduced to simple unequivocal truths. EVERYTHING must have dual meanings that are entirely dependent on the political status of the speaker of the words.
Two people can utter the exact same words - one will be condemned as the 'next Hitler' - the other will be revered as a holy savant.
IF civilization survives for another 1000 years in any recognizably acceptable form, the historical scholars of that era will look back on this period as the 'dark ages' where abject idiocy was given free rein to destroy all in they path.

I have no doubt gender dysphoria is real. It's the way they are treating it that is the problem. I am not psychologist so I don't know if what Jenner did was in their best interest. But it's the kid issue (and partially forcing people to use made up pronouns) that is where the problems are with me. Kids are normally all over the place and there is a still a real residual mental problem from Covid for them. Throw in social media causing depression in kids at insane levels, of course they are going to believe people that say the best way to be happy is transitioning. Having a permanently sterilizing solution for confused kids is making people in the US take notice.

We pretty much create our own reality. That doesn't change objective reality though and you cannot force that reality on others.

I agree with what he said, and although I oppose trans, he's from when they weren't trying to force it on us. I'm personally disgusted by him, but he makes a lot of good points and he's well into adulthood and not recruiting. I have better things to worry about.

I still believe Bruce went transgender to escape the responsibility of causing a traffic accident that killed a woman. Story was barely reported on when it happened, then a few months later, he came out as transgender and the story of him getting someone killed just went away.
