The 24th district for US House was the only uncontested house race in Broward county so it didn’t appear on the ballot. The ballots in the 24th only had the Senate race in the bottom left corner, while the rest of the county had two races. People saw a blank space and didn't keep looking down the ballot to see the US Senate race at the bottom. So they didn't vote in the race.

Here's some maps. Look at the little piece of the 24th district that sticks out into Broward County. That's where the "missing votes" come from. There are no votes to find.

Here's a ballot from Broward County but from the 23rd House district. It looks like the House race is at the bottom of the left column. So if it was blank in the 24th district it means the left column was much shorter and didn't catch people's eyes. People saw the voter instructions on the top left and didn't read the instructions.. like every other set of instructions in the world.. saw a shorter than the rest column on the left side and figured there was nothing to vote for on the left side.

18 years since that 2000 election clusterfrick down there, and these dimwits STILL can’t figure out how to vote.

Poorly educated uninformed voters didn't vote because they didn't know there was a US Senate race to vote for. How are these people able to vote?

That's a reasonable barrier for not getting your vote counted...

Not actually checking the box

At this point, maybe we just need a law that says Broward county can no longer participate in elections?

That just makes it easy for the Broward officials to check the box for them

#Florida law requires counties report early voting & vote-by-mail within 30 minutes after polls close. 43 hours after polls closed 2 Democrat strongholds #BrowardCounty & #PalmBeachCounty are still counting & refusing to disclose how many ballots they have left to count. #Sayfie

FYI:
Love the commentary

Leftist: Why are you so opposed to vote being counted? (stated in my brain in self righteous leftist tone)

Random Tweet Reponse: Sounds like votes being invented.

Same morons from 2000.

“Marcus and Louise Shalbot both ate their ballots while Ruth Baumgardner mailed her ballot to Barbra Streisand.”

People on Reddit who live in Broward are saying that counties are required by law in Florida to publicly report the total number of absentee and mail-in ballots 30 minutes after polls close. Here we are 48 hours later and they have not reported the numbers.

Can any Floridians confirm that this in fact is true?

I don't want to hurt myself patting myself on the back but Poli Talk is welcome for me breaking this news.
