I think he and Haley were ready to go after Butler PA. Many politicos have been threatened by Iran. Obama and Biden armed them and gave them cash.
Do all that get threats from Iran get a lifelong limo protective service? This is only offered to Presidents or we would go into chapter 11.

I think Trump, Pompeo, Bolton and others are all at risk from Iran. Since Trump doesn’t seem to mind exposing his former admin officials to this risk (for no other reason that they didn’t remain loyal to Trump in perpetuity) surely he wouldn’t mind he was treated the same when he gets out. If we have to change the law then we can change the law.

Of course he was, but Pompeo is a Cassius like figure wanting to stay close to power and stabbing it in the back the first chance he gets.
He’s a very, very likely conspirator in the Trump assassination plot. If Trump is killed two days before the RNC, then Nikki Haley would be the nominee, which is the EXACT person Pompeo wants in power. Trump is completely in the way of Pompeo’s bottom line, but Haley, Biden, and Kamala are not and will do as they’re told by the Deep State.
Most alternate timelines from July 13th going forward has a Haley/Burgum ticket that ran for the Presidency, and whether they won or lost, Pompeo still wins. He gets to protect his biolabs, expand his wars to Iran, escalate the spying and revocation of people’s civil liberties, and expand the CIA’s power. Pompeo in the very least must pay for illegally producing bioweapons, one of which was Covid-19.
