No shite. This was unsurprising and why Brannon basically refused to mount a defense.
IIRC, they wanted to question it on constitutional grounds and the court refused to consider it.

I’m not surprised that he was found guilty.
I am saddened that a Nazi era, Soviet style “show trial” is actually occurring in the US of A and that there are morons (here is looking at you oweo) that are actually supporting it.

He didn’t really have one. Executive Privilege was ruled to not apply as a matter of law, and the court wouldn’t hear argument on the committee’s legality since it has already been adjudicated.
At that point, Bannon’s only real defense was to say he didn’t understand the subpoena or thought the deadline was flexible. Both of those are silly, so he chose to forego the defense.

1. January 6 Committee is an abomination and hopefully it’s illegitimacy will be rightly declared by SCOTUS
2. There was no way for Bannon to win, once the judge made the dumbass rulings on day 1.
3. Hopefully he will get a stay of execution till after November
4. The only benefit to this is the next time The Deep State decides to do the same thing it’s done when time to testify and produce it’s documents- they will have a difficult time saying that the don’t have to go. Although for the leftist deep state it will always be (D)ifferent
