Can't speak for anyone else but for me and my family and friends, this has been so emotionally draining. Having my grandmother tell me her stories jim crow in shreveport in the 60's, with covid going on right now too, it's just allot right now.

You need to learn about intent.

That’s weird I’m pretty sure I saw video and pictures with three officers kneeling on the deceased back while restrained.

how about the cops that stood there? the little Asian one?
saw another angle of the arrest about an hour ago on FOX. There was 3 officers on him. One on his neck, one on his torso, one on his legs. The Asian dude was the only one standing at the time that particular video was shot

Why was he being arrested, takes days or more to complete investigations before arrests...

In a twisted way, you, like other Democrats, enjoy this...
It allows justification for your hatred of whitey.

What?
Go rob a liquor store and get caught in the act. You’ll be arrested. Then the investigation will happen.
Unless you are just looting In that case, nothing to see here.

You aren’t a victim of any injustice here. George Floyd was.
So sick of this point of view.
It’s possible for something to be a huge injustice, while also being not being some huge reflection about society at large.

quote:I get what you're saying, but at the same time those three other cops stood there while the 4th one killed George Floyd, making sure no one else could intervene. if any one of those bystanders would have tried to step in and help Floyd they would have at least been arrested. So in a sense they weren't just standing there, they were complicit in letting it happen.
For them to be charged as accessories, they'd have to have been willing participants in the planning/carrying out of the actual crime or the cover up

and did nothing
you don't get arrested for doing nothing.

They definitely deserved to be fired, but what crime would the other 3 be charged with though?
I'm not saying they should be charged, but my guess would be "Depraved indifference".
quote:
To constitute depraved indifference, the defendant's conduct must be 'so wanton, so deficient in a moral sense of concern, so lacking in regard for the life or lives of others, and so blameworthy as to warrant the same criminal liability as that which the law imposes upon a person who intentionally causes a crime. Depraved indifference focuses on the risk created by the defendant’s conduct, not the injuries actually resulting.

Does Minnesota have a criminal statute for that?
