What? Go rob a liquor store and get caught in the act. You’ll be arrested. Then the investigation will happen. Unless you are just looting In that case, nothing to see here.
Oh yeah I forgot about the cop rules where it takes days to arrest them, even with video

This has the feeling of a trial where the verdict won't change the reaction. Riots in anger obviously if he isn't found guilty. Riots in celebration if he is. Just seems like it will happen either way.

What should he be charged with? I'm anything but a legal expert, but as I understand it:
Murder 1 : premeditated
I don't think there's anything that proves he thought he'd murder the victim before he did so.
Murder 2: heat of passion
This is possible. He ignored the victim's pleas to breathe, he ignored the victim fretting for his life, and he even ignored the victim calling for his mother.
Manslaughter: Accidentally killing someone / killing someone in self-defense
I don't think it was an accident, and the victim was subdued, so the level of force applied was extreme and indefensible.

you don't get arrested for doing nothing.

I'm sure there was a cop driving by at the time. Get him too. Pretty close.

You don’t know his truth. He is destroyed inside.
I couldn’t sleep for weeks when that Somali cop killed that innocent woman.
My golf game went to shite.

Would never be able to prove Murder 1 or 2.
If they charge him with either of those, he will be not guilty. At best pled down to manslaughter.

Cop rules? Where are those written? Minny council weirdos should do something about those rules.

Well, this should stop your mentally ill ilk from destroying the city.
We can expect the riots to come in waves like a pandemic:
First wave: August 9, 2014 – August 25, 2014
Second wave: November 24, 2014 – December 2, 2014
Third wave: August 9, 2015 – August 11, 2015

Yes you know. When they commit a crime on video, are allowed to go home, get their affairs in order, draw a check, then calmly turn themselves in...
Citizen commits crime, not on video, no investigation needed..treat them like an animal, choke the life from them.
Cop rules, what’s good for them..it ain’t for you

Can't speak for anyone else but for me and my family and friends, this has been so emotionally draining. Having my grandmother tell me her stories jim crow in shreveport in the 60's, with covid going on right now too, it's just allot right now.
You're marinating in this stuff. A cop did something bad to someone you've never met a 1,000 miles from where you live, and it's emotionally draining? I hope you never have to deal with an actual tragedy in your life, because you're just going to melt.

State the law in Minnesota. I’m not saying there’s not one but you’ve got to have an applicable criminal statute to arrest - not just your emotions.

I get what you're saying, but at the same time those three other cops stood there while the 4th one killed George Floyd, making sure no one else could intervene. if any one of those bystanders would have tried to step in and help Floyd they would have at least been arrested. So in a sense they weren't just standing there, they were complicit in letting it happen
What would you charge them with?

The definition of the varying degrees of murder and manslaughter differ from state to state. There really is no generally applicable definition.

Not rational in a court of law.
