I'm thinking though if the indictments on the Russians end up proving that the Russkies were equal opportunity disruptors then none of the campaigns are at fault and collusion/conspiracy goes by the wayside. You can't say that it was OK for the Russians to disrupt Trump but not OK for them to disrupt Hillary.
If you eliminate any cooperation between the Trump campaign and Russians, then the entire Mueller investigation needs to end or else this becomes open ended and the only person(s) who benefit become the investigators who get to charge billable hours and keep this going ad infinitum. Next thing you know you are investigating Ivanka Trump because the people who were actually making her clothing line were being treat poorly.

I wonder if Mueller knew Van Der Zwaan was lying because Gates was spilling his guts. That would also explain the added charges against Manafort.

I'm old enough to remember John Dean flipping on Nixon. Even though the tapes were the final proof needed, Nixon's presidency was doomed from the time Dean copped his plea.
Remember, Manafort was at that Trump Tower meeting. If there are beans to be spilled and he spills them, the party is over and Trump is a proven traitor. Couple of big ifs there, but the noose is tightening.

As for IG. I think it depends. I think they will definitely be pursuing criminal prosecution. Against who and how many I don't know. I don't think it will be for things that happened in 2012!
