Yeah it is. You know AQ and ISIS have won a massive ideological battle when Wahhabism is seen as mainstream Islam. I'm skeptical that these Muslims were Wahhabis too. The Hanbali school is the smallest fiqh of Islam, certainly the smallest Sunni school by a wide margin, yet people treat Wahhabi Islam as though its the majority.

If you believe in some kind of white supremacy nonsense I can see this perspective. The western perspective is rooted in a values system that says all men are created in the image of God.

Disagree. Your average Muslim supports Sharia law which is an extremely repressive system.
Doesn't mean they are all terrorists or desire to be terrorists.
The man who committed this atrocity was not a Christian and didn't follow the example that Jesus set. He sounds like an atheist libertarian... that's a growing group that just like the atheist progressives have no higher moral authority.
