I have an idea.
Corporations care about profits.
Competitors like Netflix cut into certain ISP's profits.
Eliminate competitors like Netflix and increase profits.

I vote yes.

Anyone who thinks this is a good thing just wants everything that Obama did, good and bad, to be undone.

Bingo. If its legal, and will make a lot of money, why wouldnt they do it?

Also imagine if this was the case for an election, with comcast allowing traffic only to HRC and her friends in the media... is it that hard to imagine comcast only allowing traffic to its MSM subsidiaries?

This has NOTHING to do with net neutrality unless you mean speed. They could already charge you anything they want for the amount of bandwidth you use. ZILCH. Zero to do with net neutrality.

Now if they choose to test fast/slow lanes for pay, then you have an argument but they didn't do that in the first 40 years of internet so the gloom and doom are nonsense until they start asking for different prices for different speeds.

For all the shirt rending, this regulation was not in effect until 2015 yet somehow the internet thrived.

I don’t know shite about net neutrality. But if Obama was for it then it must have been bad for people like me.

Comcast, Verizon, etc want to make more money. There is nothing wrong with that. But they lobbied for this hard because they want to increase profits. They didn't do this for shits n giggles.

Tell me, if Comcast makes more money, who pays?

Right. If some company "tries that," maybe the FCC will step in and say that they can't do that. That's what happened last time.

So it happened before the Title 2 re-classificatoin?

As I said, they could already charge you for bandwidth. They haven't done that to date although most ISPs do have a maximum bandwidth with charges for overrages. You already pay for speed depending on your internet package.

If they start slowing speed to certain sites even though you pay for a certain speed then that opens them up to easy lawsuits.

I'll throw a fit if they abuse the system in place. Until then, I'm not throwing a fit or being a hypocrite. I hate government regulations so I can't say, I hate them except when it benefits me.

Anything but. What do you honestly think will happen if Comcast bans Netflix?

If you can honestly present a long term business model that will be successful for an ISP doing something like that, I'll listen. I've never seen one. ISPs haven't been able to come up with one either.

Argue all you want, you'd still be wrong. Before the internet, did you have to pay for pen and paper, or for a typewriter? If so then it's not a right, but only a tool for the expression of a right. Show me where in the constitution it says that the tools you chose to use to express yourself are provided free of charge.

You don't understand how networks work. ISPs wants to charge the content providers more for higher throughput access to their networks. This is exactly what that regulation prevented. The charges will be passed down to you, the consumer.

The throttling will happen on the content provider's side, allowing ISPs to say they are meeting their legal obligations for your local internet access.

We tried to save you stupid fricks from this happening but you wouldn't listen.

Maybe not, even though the infrastructure for it was paid by American tax payers.

But you're going to be bitching up a storm when a liberal ISP, which may be the only option in your city, prevents you from accessing the news websites you want.

Comcast or Time Warner hates Fox News? Now they can throttle it all they want. Info Wars runs a negative story about them? Block them.
