I get the sentiment and won’t downvote you for it. As the father of a 1LT (and father-in-law of another), I want to minimize any potential for conflict for our troops.
That being said, this seems a hell of a lot more like “defending the country” than building a pier to offload supplies in Gaza.

Unless they are military aged male sleeper cells or criminals then it's innocent people being sold a bill of goods by the NGOs and other parties who are facilitating the migrant caravans. For shame!
