The wizards in charge of Brandon put a tourniquet on an arterial bleed. They bought some time, but they didn’t fix anything. And the thing is, the wizards in charge of Brandon know this.

we get to sell high and buy low.

When does the low part kick in...It certainly won't be lower than what we filled the reserve up with at the time.

We are already exporting "oil" if you think that much of the tight shale drilling if actually oil and not condensate. WE cannot refine a lot of it as is

Strategic reserve is well beyond project authorization. of 90 days supply for IMPORTED crude. Canadian Heavy crude is not what is in SPR. Big difference for refiners. Also the logistics of the SPR no longer work. Pipelines taking crude oil from coastal terminals to inland refineries are all outbound now to coastal refineries. The SPR only works for TX and LA these days

Now you can have mustard with that hot dog that I’ll allow you peasants and a neighbor to eat on July 4th.

Gas prices here were getting lower BEFORE Biden's SPR announcement.
Now, the prices are going back up.

The state of Alaska has enough oil reserves on-shore that is enough for 100 years.

Canada is believed to have enough oil reserves for 200 years of use.

The puppet-masters of tater-head xiDung know this.

Gomer Pyle, aka poot bootyjug has no freaking clue as to what is going on too.

The goofy Sec of Energy granholm has zero experience in the energy sector who is just another affirmative action hire to appeal to the womez vote.

The deep-state swamp slime is running this country right now.

Shortly after Keystone was completed to PHillips in Wood River, IL, the plan in Canada was to run another pipeline to the West Coast build a refinery owned by China to export products and crude to China. "First Nations" whatever the F that means, blocked it so Keystone XL was planned the same time as the move to shift heavy crude sourcing from Venezuela which had become unreliable due poor maintenance in the fields there to Canada for heavy and very heavy crude for major Gulf Coast refineries configured for at least heavy crude. The stuff looks like black wax shoe polish at room temperature.

I was VP of a small refining company which processed Venezuelan crude. We'd run it through a coker unit - sell the black coke to a nearby tire manufacturer and then process the liquids into asphalt. We made bank on the asphalt selling via short pipeline to a nearby roofing manufacturer and selling the rest to highway departments for roads.
