What interpretations of the law prevent a POTUS from deporting foreign gang members who crossed the border illegally?

I am not defending it. It is just silly for this youngster (Gill) to file Articles of Impeachment over it.
As an aside, is there anything more “hipster“ than living in a city called “Flower Mound“ and naming your daughter Marigold?

There’s a difference between a different interpretation of legislation and creating legislation from the bench.

No it isn't. These judges stood by and even protected the invasion Biden facilitated now they are standing directly in the way of the executive branch doing its job. Impeach them all

I'll never have a government employee work as hard to advocate on my behalf as they do for foreign gang members.

Boasberg and these other judges are violating the Constitutions Article 2. Article 2 Executive Powers are invested in the President, the Chief Law Enforcement Officer.
Their job is to interpret the laws., NOT to enforce it or issue orders.THIS is where they have been overstepping for ages and usurping authority they were never meant to have.Should the Executive overstep the remedy is Congress and their impeachment power,.
NOT a black robed tyrant who does not answer to the people.

Need to be REAL careful about doing that.
It's tempting. I get it.
BUT when the Dems are in power, they will then do it to conservative judges. It's a Rubicon that has not been crossed yet and does not need to be crossed.

From Grok:
“In short: Yes, the Constitution guarantees some rights to undocumented immigrants—due process, equal protection, and certain liberties—but not a right to stay, and citizenship-specific privileges are off the table.”
Also from Grok:
Yes, the president of the United States has the authority to order deportations of criminals, though this power is exercised within the framework of existing immigration laws and processes. The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) provides the legal basis for deporting non-citizens, including those convicted of certain crimes. The executive branch, under the president's direction, enforces these laws through agencies like Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
