I’d say the line is “lack of respect for you neighbors” that Trump used in his recent UN address is the line.

In Commons last week...
Ms Sherriff, the Labour MP for Dewsbury, told the Commons the prime minister had "continually used pejorative language to describe an Act of Parliament passed by this House.” (banning leave of EU without a deal from EU and refusing to hold elections for the people to decide)
“We should not resort to using offensive, dangerous or inflammatory language for legislation that we do not like, and we stand here under the shield of our departed friend with many of us in this place subject to death threats and abuse every single day."
"They often quote his words 'Surrender Act', 'betrayal', 'traitor' and I for one am sick of it.
"We must moderate our language, and it has to come from the prime minister first."
(Keep in mind, they’ve called Boris a fascist and claimed sick and elderly will die because they won’t get medicine if they leave the EU)
In response, Mr Johnson said: "I have to say, Mr Speaker, I've never heard such humbug in all my life."

I think nationalism is the way btw, but we need to acknowledge the historical precedents.
Nationalism also helped stop both wars.

Ok you may be right, but where is the line of pride in your country and “dangerous nationalism”?

At the risk of sounding snowflakey,
The vast majority of Germans won't really respond to this provocation. The entire German society, with the exception of some fringe elements, has been completely reeducated.
The German people actually see the allies as their liberators. They have been re-taught to see the Nazi regime as something that happened to them, and not something they chose.

Dayum. This is the kind of stuff I'd do if I ran a country.
PS - Shakin' Angela needs to eat a grenade.

That is funny! Boris is a quick study. A lot of people and politicos are going to be affected by the raw power of Trump style politics. Just in time.

Noted, MS. But it was good Nationalism that stood up and defeated bad Nationalism. Like a gun, it all depends on who holds the gun, and how power is employed.
I'm pretty uncomfortable with China's Nationalism. If their Economic Model is so great...why the Military hegemony? It ain't like we went over there and invaded and claimed their land - or any land for that matter - when we surely could have.

Imagine the jolly good melt the Brits will have if Boris shows up to the EU summit in a few days with a spray tan.

Probably the greatest thing a politician ever had the balls to say
It amazes me that Europe is allowing Germany to run roughshod all over them

Hyper-nationalism should be avoided.
Um. No. How about frick this shite right here.
Our nation needs to be concerned with ONE THING and ONE THING ONLY: the preservation of OUR NATION and OUR CITIZENS.
Hyper nationalist here. Seriously frick every other country if they undermine our interests (and many of our "allies" do just that...)
America First.

And other nations SHOULD think the same. Globalist expansionist bullshite is what entangles alliances and leads to war.

When you start massively killing the ethnic minorities or invading other countries.
