DC had decided this. Republicans are just controlled opposition. If the power brokers of the party really wanted this it would be closed. And you wouldnt have to do it at the American border it would be closed further south af the Mexican border. But its quite the opposite, DC has worked with Mexico and Central American countries to create a corridor to bring the masses through.

That was an Ukraine bill that just made people legal quicker so they would no longer be illegal. Doesn’t solve the problem of immigration.
