Sorry couldn't fit everything in the title. His terrible comment was evidently about women serving in combat.

I suppose they don't believe people's opinions change.
But their own opinions change. What extreme Lefty 20 years ago is very different from where they are now.

Nobody who was alive in 1987 is the same person they were in 1987.
I’m surmising that to give up a high paying job like that over a 33-year old comment, that it wasn’t going to take much to get him to leave that job anyway, and this was just the excuse.
