A lot of the support for “black lives matter” is for the push against police violence only. Not specifically the group BLM.

The problem is you can’t separate the two anymore. Questioning BLM in any way no matter how slight or justified gets you canceled and violently attacked.

No it wasn’t.

You still didn't answer my question as to whether or not LSU has the right to take a side during an election year even though it is funded by many taxpayers who hold a different view. Why don't you answer that for all of us?

They have the right to do it, but they probably shouldn’t. Just like when everyone on this board was pushing for the trump rally to be held in tiger stadium. I didn’t think that was appropriate at all, but it wouldn’t have changed my opinion of LSU and wouldn’t have stopped me from supporting LSU or the athletic dept.

I agree, that is a problem. I’ve said on here many times that the cancel culture is out of control and ridiculous.

Why haven’t they arrested him? If a white person got on TV and said what he said they would have arrested him on the spot. White people you better wake up.

The faces of their movement have drastically changed since Minneapolis. You had the woman at first talking about equal justice and removing protections for dirty cops to now this guy saying literally “give us what we demand or we’ll burn this country to the ground.” I think BLM and black communities are very far apart on what they’re after.

Let's see now. I pay taxes, some of which go to support LSU. LSU decides to use my tax money to show support of a cause that I do not agree with or support in any fashion. Isn't this taxation without representation? You think they have a "right" to do this? There are many of us out here who don't concede them that "right". Does this mean we should be fighting any funds going out of our pockets to an institution that is an enemy of our perception of freedom? Somebody at the big house over there had better offer an explanation that we can accept. This issue is NOT going away.

Our tax dollars go to things we don’t all support every single day. That’s not taxation without representation at all. It literally happens every day.

Do you believe most of the fools sending BLM money know where its being spent?
Do you believe the administration at LSU care?
I expect most of the administration and faculty are conservative?

Just checking. Just making sure you knew that your candidate is accepting money from a Marxist organization. One that you clearly do not support as you stated. One that wants to burn down the country as stated by the OP.

If you are referring to taxes being spent by elected representatives that I have a voice in electing that's one thing. Who did I have the chance to select at LSU to represent MY interest rather than THEIR OWN personal interest? No one political entity has ever owned Tiger stadium. Who gave ownership of it to the leftist at LSU to use as they please? There used to be clear lines between things in this nation and the left has refused to stay within those lines. LSU crossed the line big time doing what THEY did. They owe those of us who are angry about them doing so an explanation.

Exactly. Now you understand why they shouldn’t support BLM.

Governor. You elect the governor, governor selects the BOS, the BOS selects the president of LSU.
