If you really believe LSU supports burning down America, there’s no need to continue this discussion.

Then why not clarify? Seems they can stop all of this pushback if they would just clarify.

Do you support the idea that a publicly funded state university should be using it's publicly funded football stadium to express a political opinion during an election year that half or more of it's fans do not share? If so, when are WE going to be given that jumbo tron to express our political preferences?

Jesus...LSU has also shown support for the police on tiger stadium before too. This isn’t a big deal except to you sky screamers melting about it.

What pushback? I honestly haven’t seen any outside of this board.

ETA: and it’s such a ridiculous conclusion to leap to, it doesn’t need a clarification by LSU.

Black lives aren’t smart enough as a group to do that.

I barely use Facebook. This board tells me not to.

I asked YOU if YOU think LSU, a state funded university, has the right to express a political opinion at all, much less during an election year, and to use a legendary facility to give added weight to that opinion? Would YOU support a "Make America Great Again" being posted on the Tiger Stadium jumbo tron?

BLM is getting millions of dollars. You think all of those people support burning down the country and Marxism?

I guess that’s the difference here. I don’t view the phrase “black lives matter” as a political opinion. I mean, if you disagree with that statement, something’s seriously wrong with you.
That statement is being used widespread right now in support of minorities against unfair police violence.

Is it safe to assume you never criticized Trump for his “fine people on both sides” comment? Did you call those who did sky screamers?

I’ll answer the question for you Mickey. Those people who donated support the organization. They may not support everything about it. But they support the organization. It’s like supporting Hitler if he were to have a couple of good ideas.

And yes, LSU does need to clarify. Because when you post a slogan that is the name of a Marxist organization getting millions of dollars and marching in the streets rioting, looting, tearing down statues, wanting to burn the country down, etc, yes, you need to clarify if you support that organization or not.

Nothing is "wrong" with me. The exact phrase "Black Lives Matter" has a nationally recognized meaning to most Americans and it is associated with the group itself which is aligned with the thug army arm of the Democrat party. Using that exact phrase on the Tiger Stadium jumbo tron was the same thing as posting "Vote For Biden" to MOST normal Americans who saw it. Acting like it didn't come across that way to you doesn't remove the FACT that it came across that way to many and was purposely phrased to do so.

You still didn't answer my question as to whether or not LSU has the right to take a side during an election year even though it is funded by many taxpayers who hold a different view. Why don't you answer that for all of us?

Many of the institutions that we support has decided to fully support BLM. BLM has been shown to be a neo-Marxist extremist group that has members that apparently feel white people dying maybe part of their goal.

It's very surreal and the amazing part of it is that if you voice opposition to BLM, you get fired.

A lot of the support for “black lives matter” is for the push against police violence only. Not specifically the group BLM

And DJT said openly that there were good people defending the statues in Charlottesville. You see how that works?

FTR, I believe you (this time), and I believe DJT.

Anyone who supports Black Lives Matter (the group) supports wealth redistribution, is against the nuclear family, and supports an end to the use of fossil fuels. The fact LSU supports this should alarm people
