What’s sad is there are some interesting and noteworthy contributions, collaborations, conversations, etc. included in his article, but they’re surrounded by so much logical fallacy and/or utter bullshite that they become tainted by association.
And far too many readers eat it up because it’s socially expedient, and because he clearly understands that peppering an article with citations lends the illusion of credibility — even if they don’t actually provide a wisp of support for his alleged conclusions. His source documents, while voluminous, often don’t say what he claims they do. I mean, in some cases it’s not even CLOSE.
You don’t counteract “lies” with more lies. You only degrade the truth further and diminish the importance of real people and events.

Brazil imported 11 times more slaves than America did.

To be clear, I do see a few black people here and there calling them out for it.
But mostly, I see a lot of very angry black people that not only believe it, but call for outright violence against white people for hiding their real history. It's pretty scary to read.
And what I don't get is that there were some legitimately powerful and rich kingdoms in Sub-Saharan Africa that could be celebrated if that's what they're interested in. It's crazy.

Right, and that's what also bothers me. There's this push to replace the histories and stories of other cultures, but blacks have their own histories and stories.
Take Hollywood for example. They'd rather have a black Anne Boleyn than make a movie about Mansa Musa. I don't understand it.

I think white guilt was such a powerful silencer for so long that black people who think like this forgot just how many white people there are. White guilt, as much as the media wants to double down on it, is less powerful today than it was yesterday. More people are pointing it out today than they were yesterday. It’s not going to back in the other direction, white guilt won’t be more effective in a week or a year. I’m more concerned with what happens if a mass amount of white people snap and go Scott Adams. They think a few white supremacists on MSNBC here and there are “scary,” I don’t think they have a clue of what mass amounts of them are capable of.
And, like you said, there are black people who call them out. I typically do not see those people except on Fox News or their own podcasts.
