Here’s where the $11.5MM the tour is donating is coming from.
She isn’t stroking any $11.5MM check from her own account and anyone who that’s that is naive as frick.

quote:

Billie has designated tickets at every show on her tour for the Changemaker program. Proceeds from these tickets will create a Climate Impact Fund, managed by nonprofit partner REVERB, that will support important organizations, projects, and voices dedicated to climate justice, reducing carbon pollution, and supporting crucial environmental work. Changemaker tickets also support Billie Eilish and REVERB’s Music Decarbonization Project, a campaign co-founded by Eilish to eliminate greenhouse gas pollution in the music industry.

Powerbottom is that naive. He also thinks giving money to leftist causes is “charity”.

She just donated 11.5 million or approximately 25% of her net worth to charity

So she has another $30+ million to donate and still live more comfortably than 99.9% of people on the planet then.

I hear this cliche often, but no one ever wants to address the follow-up question? What if it wasn’t given to you? What if you worked for it? And what about the welfare people to whom every fvcking thing they have is given to them? What is expected of them?

I know that there’s no love lost for billionaires, but damn. Where do people get off telling others how to spend their own money? It’s insane.

Why don’t these rich arse 1%ers making 34k a year share their wealth with the 99%?

What about the families living on 40 USD a month? Why won’t these rich American McDonald’s employees share their hyper wealth with those less fortunate?

Need more people to understand that net worth is not cash on hand. It’s theoretical money, essentially.

If Musk started selling his shares(a huge source of his net worth) the value would plummet and hurt all shareholders.

You could go one step further and reasonably claim that her provocative comments towards “billionaires” were made to gain some organic free marketing for her current tour. Which it most definitely has.

And you could probably assume the contribution was done , at least in part, to make people feel better about the exorbitant ticket price and associated fees.
I'd like to assume Powercuck wasn't actually lying and is just too stupid to actually look it up but who knows?

He does seem to have disappeared from the thread though

Exactly. This is as much bullshite as if Microsoft donating 10 cents for every payment they take and Bill Gates claiming he donated millions to charity.

Dude.

Everyone wants to pile on Sydney Sweeney, saying her tits are the only thing that make her attractive (I happen to vehemently disagree with that).

Billie Eilish has huge tits and STILL isn’t attractive…unless you’re into corpses, that is. She has lifeless eyes, just looks dead inside. No expression at all. The poster child for Prozac abuse.

Would reenact Me Myself and Irene mom on bench scene though.

Ah, so donations to left wing politicians. What percentage of that actually makes it to the homes of those in need?

Everything you have was given to you by the Lord. The saying does not mean to whom much material goods were given by the corporeal world much is expected from the world.

quote:

What if you worked for it?

This does not change anything at all. Everyone should care for their neighbor and donate to those needy who have less. You can donate time or money or opportunity or whatever. Simply blindly giving some of your unneeded excess wealth to the government is not charity and has been proven time and time again to help basically no one and do no good for society.

quote:

And what about the welfare people to whom every fvcking thing they have is given to them? What is expected of them?

Answered above. Further, someone else squandering their money or refusing to help the poor does not relieve you of your obligation.
