If Fox is in trouble, then so are CNN and MSNBC (on the count that Fox is the highest rated news entertainment network). And if this is the case, then it probably has nothing to do with the content of Fox News and more to do with the trend of dying cable.

I don't watch video news. I read articles from all sources much faster than some talking head can say them. I do watch Gutfeld for entertainment. He's like a walking talking meme.

I don't normally watch, but Tuck doesn't have a lot of commercials and they are not big brands for the most part.

Seems Gutfeld is similar.

If I'm watching news these days, it's either local (to know what's going on in the area) or Fox Business (for economic/market chatter).

The only news I watch is some of the local Fox affiliate, Real America’s Voice and a little News Max.

He wasn’t mentioning Epps pertaining to ratings, but in the context of the threatened lawsuit.

Welllllllll, the SEC is #1 in football, by a mile

But if they suddenly lost viewers and ticket sales, theres still going to be massive blood letting, and a diminished lifestyle for people used to living larger than life

I wildly disagree.
Beck actually thinks for himself and has varied opinions that don’t always fit the same narrative.
Hannity is basically a chimp who reads anything placed before him, repeats talking points and shouts over his guests when they are winning an argument.

Nailed it.

FWIW both pander to meemaw & pawpaw. Hannity tries to be cute but he's as funny as cancer.

Becks schtick is playing the Christian card but he's probably in 3 dollar bill territory. - Revelator was spot on in his analysis.

Sounds like sour grapes. Fox will be just fine

This seems to the be the correct answer.

Fox has been cash rich since selling its Studios, entertainment cable channels, and regional sports channels to Disney. They knew those were a sinking ship and cashed out ahead of time.

They kept the Fox Broadcast Network, Fox local TV stations, Fox Sports National Cable Channels, Fox News, Fox Business, and My Network TV Network.

The new slimmed down Fox does have its potential problems such as future sports royalties for NFL, MLB, NASCAR, and College Sports continuing to grow while traditional TV viewership numbers continue to slide.

Fox has been investing in new companies such as Tubi and others to offer more online content distribution. The big issue with OCD is that they do not replace the cash cow that linear TV brings in and still commands through retransmission fees.

If you think about it, Fox could be pulling .50 -2 dollars per month per cable subscriber per month whether want to watch it or not, but to get the same rate of return they my need to charge 9.99 per month to get the same amount of dollars from someone who would subscribe directly with them. And there are added distribution costs with streaming, quality bandwidth is not free when streaming.

Also cable and online advertising is different, sometimes national, local, and regional commercial spots have limitations on delivery for different reasons from union contracts on talent in the commercials, music licensing, to Ford or GM not wanting you to know that you can buy a car in Louisiana cheaper than California.

That is why when you watch an online stream of a TV channel they will blackout the commercials that were there with a slide or replace them with different spots. Sometimes when I watched, some would show the same commercial every break or even the same commercial in the same break.

As long as none of his guests bring up the Frankfurt School, which will result in an immediate end to the interview.

As he did with that guest from OANN.

Apparently, any mention of it causes his jaws to torque as what bringing up Obama's hastily crafted 3rd version of his B.C. does to Hannity.

Two of the most useless people in radio.
Have you ever heard the Chris Plante radio show? It’s a show on the radio. And it has Chris Plante as the host. That’s why they call it the Chris Plante radio show. On the radio. Anyway that guy Chris Plante has a radio show, where over the course of three hours he manages to say the same thing at least 500 times. 500 times, by that Chris Plante guy on his radio show. He just rephrases and repeats the same thing over and over at least 500 times. That’s right 500 times over a three hour long show. That’s the Chris Plante radio show where that happens. The show hosted by Chris Plante., where he constantly repeats himself.
