I used to like bill nye the science guy, when I was a kid. It sucks that he has become such a piece of shite, that now that I'm an adult, I can't stand his lib rhetoric.

The benefits of modern energy sources are huge. Without them we would have deforested most of the planet by now. We’d still be reliant on horses for transportation. We’d have no plastics or modern chemistry. Most medicines would not exist. Basically we’d be living as we did in the early 1800s.
Given those benefits, at the cost so low... that we can’t definitively quantify it from the atmospheric noise of weather.... would lead any sensible person to conclude that the “cost” is negligible compared to the massive benefits.
“Everything has a cost”. Indeed. And in his case it’s very, very low. Even if one believes in AGW.
