If tweet fails to load, click here. The BBB is the most significant immigration bill in the history of the nation. It would, without hyperbole, be far more significant than anything passed in term 1.
Obviously the bill is flawed, but I think this alone is important enough to support it.
It’s now or never. It has to be passed via reconciliation or else it would require 60 votes.
Imagine being a border patrol agent who was on cloud 9 when djt was elected knowing these funds were coming, only to see it potentially derailed.

Does there need to be a bill to allocate funds and openings for something like this? Can’t this be done through other means? Honest question.

Homan has saying they don't have the budget to do what really needs to be done. If you want to deport 10-20 thousand per day you are going to need more facilities, more agents, more judges, more planes for one way trips.

It can as a separate appropriations bill but probably won't pass as a separate stand alone appropriations bill. So it has to be inserted into a bigger bill with added inducements to get congressional votes from congress people that would otherwise vote against a stand alone bill.

Start passing the hat around... I'm sure many would kick in a few bucks. That Build The Wall got lots of money (a little of mine, too).
Also, isn't there some discretionary wiggle room? Somewhere? Anywhere?
Are they seriously only limited by funding? Cuz they ain't snagging the 3k yet anyway, per day.

This is another good point. As a stand alone bill it would not be able to be passed through the reconciliation process requiring a simple majority.

Funny how we have the budget or find money to support millions of illegals via health care and everything else under the sun but we dont have money to get rid of the parasites once and for all.
