The swamp does not want a special master and the special master deciding executive or more attorney-client privilege.
So they sent out the big dog to speak in public before the Judge rules.
Good thing no one cares.
This is the equivalent of Barr randomly coming out and declaring guilt in a very high level court case. Then saying in the last paragraph that he is only speculating.
Barr & the swamp want the headline-to influence the public & Judge Cannon because the DOJ are as nervous as cats in a bathtub.
What happened to not speaking about AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION?

They’ll indict him and get a DC Judge to go along with it that was appointed by GWB to go along with it.
The SCTOTUS will have to sort this out.

Trump had a few good ideas he just wasn’t politically savvy enough and he hired the absolute worst people to try and implement his plans. Trump is no different than any other President. He did some good stuff and some bad stuff. He isn’t infallible like people on here try to make him out to be. The guy got absolutely destroyed in an election by a guy who was a multiple time President candidate failure and who barely campaigned or left his basement.

It's his opinion of whether what Trump may have done (he wouldn't have been privy to it since he had resigned when the documents were declassified) was or was not legal based on the procedural statute for declassification passed by congress. However, the flaw with Barr's opinion is that the president's executive power in regards to declassification would likely trump the procedural statute passed by congress.
And even if it were determined that Trump violated the congressional statute, there's been no Supreme Court opinion addressing this direct conflict between the executive branch's declassification power and the congressional statute governing the process for declassification. This fact weighs heavily against the heavy-handed actions of the Brandon regime in turning this incident into a criminal case.

How does BB know this, exactly? All the inventory described was that there were relatively few out of the thousands of pages of documents that had some form of classification marking on them. We do not know when those documents arrived at MAL or whether they have since been declassified.
Unless he is swamping around with his ole swamp pals, that's all the information he has.
