Most of the gun violence is committed with stolen or illegally owned firearms. It's hilarious people buy that these idiots actually believe in "gun control" while simultaneously leaving the southern border practically wide open.
Exactly this. And this is the same government, President, and administration that swapped an international, illegal gun runner for a trans "female" basketball player.

That’s kind of my point. How many law abiding citizen would WANT to find a way around this type of security measure?
This would just be another form of gun control on law abiding gun owners, nothing more.

Biden was quoted saying “No gun should be able to be sold unless your biometric measure could pull that trigger.”
Sounds unconstitutional

The Biofire smart gun is expected to hit the market in 2024.? Some believe that when it does, it could significantly help curb the gun crisis we’re facing in this country.
What a ridiculous statement.

100%. The gun grab has always been about control. This is just putting it out there black and white.

How about pushing for smart gun users? I'm sure the criminals that take life so lightly aren't very high up the scholastic ladder.

Unfortunately I lost all my firearms in a boating accident, so this doesn’t involve me.

I think I'm good with my pre-ban guns. I'll never purchase one of these.

this would do the following.
make guns suspectable to catastrophic electrical events like an EMP or solar flare.
make guns heavier and more complicated to operate.
make guns more expensive.
force gun manufacturers out of civilian markets (I assume police, hired security, and military wouldn't have to have these).
make guns prone to failure.
make guns not go boom when you pull the trigger.
I guess it depends on whether you are looking at it from our POV or a tyrannical governments POV as to whether these are pros or cons.

So you cut of a guys hand to make the gun work, at least he did not kill anyone. The guy with his hand killed someone.

Biofire smart gun
If this company isn't bankrupt or move on from this product, within the first 6months of release then we really have some really stupid people in this nation. I hope the govt isn't subsidizing them some how.
The article is a bit contridicatory from the start sayinge it already hit the market last week, but the last sentence still says its in 2024. Maybe pre-orders... NY Post
Kids need to be taught about safety and that a gun is not a toy. I don't care for the idea that all guns need to be locked up. Maybe the collection or majority, but there has to be some handy for home protection. Just like many can remember gun racks in trucks at the local HS parking lot, many remember dads/uncles/papaws loaded shotgun laying against the wall next to their bed, in case needed. We were told not to touch it, and even shoot it young to get it out of our system. Touch it and you get your butt whipped, also shouldn't be parading your friends in your parents room for no reason either.
Education not scare tactics...but of course this all counters what the diabolical left want.

How about 2 parent homes instead that encourages proper education to smarten up kids and by all means feel free to back off those meds given to kids for “ deficit disorders “. Use the parents to have those disorders worked out
So racist.

Ignoring the unconstitutionality of making it illegal to sell “dumb” guns anymore, that will be fought tooth and nail and I doubt it will ever pass.
My question is do yall have an issue with smart guns being on the market in addition to current guns. I have small kids in the house and would likely buy one.
