He is imploding. I think he was the only candidate that could give Trump a run for his money. I am not so sure that this whole impeachment thing wasn't a Trump trap to end Biden's nomination chances. Very stable genius at work.

SO, maybe he WAS an intelligent guy. Maybe he IS a well-educated guy. But, I'm going to need a little more to concede he's "obviously" intelligent.
And, you're going to have to toss out more than a BA in History and Law Degree (my identical qualifications) and ABSOLUTELY ZERO EXPERIENCE in oil and gas.
And I'm not saying they couldn't have hired him - his background on ecommerce and Amtrak may have had some relevance. They hired him for "corporate government best practices" -
How does that warrant $600k to $1m per year? Other than my previously mentioned notation that:
1. He had VP Biden's phone number, and
2. VP Biden would answer his call (and try to help)
And THAT is how the swamp works.

He "came off like an idiot" because the MSM came after him for every little gaff.
Juxtapose that against the MSM shield of Obama gaffes for "57 states", giving the UK PM 25 DVDs as a gift, found out about current events in the newspaper, etc.
Personally, the MSM shouldn't give a shite about gaffes or mistakes in wording, but the weigh who they go after with a thumb on the scale.
