“No one’s found anything wrong with his dealings in Ukraine except the said that it’s a bad image," Biden said when Guthrie asked whether the Hunter Biden controversy was impacting his campaign.
Do you agree that it's a bad image?" Guthrie followed.

"Do you think it was wrong for him to take that position knowing it was really because that company wanted access to you?" Guthrie asked.

"Well, that's not true," Biden retorted. "You are saying things you do not know what you are talking about. No one said that. Who said that? Who said that?"

"Don't you think that it's just one of those things where people think, well, that seems kind of sleazy," Guthrie explained. "Why would he have that job if not for who his father was?"

"Because he's a very bright guy," Biden responded, before later adding that his son is a "grown man" who can "speak for himself." LINK

That party needs a brokered convention.

There is a general rule in politics or anything in the public eye, if there's something bad you need to get it out there, try to get it behind you, and hopefully get people to forget about it.

Biden is doing the exact opposite of this. you know that he knows better, so it must be that the truth is pretty ugly or he would put it out there.

He’s apparently started with his granddaughter given the other thread.

They are a day late and a dollar short.

Bidens ahead of Iowa caucus: Hunter has done nothing wrong

Democratic presidential hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden in a pair of interviews airing Monday said their son, Hunter Biden, did nothing wrong in regards to his work on the board of a Ukrainian energy firm.

The Biden’s defended Hunter in separate interviews airing on the day of the Iowa Caucus after some Republicans suggested Hunter Biden should testify during President Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate.

“Hunter has done nothing wrong,” Jill Biden, Hunter’s stepmother, said in an interview with CNN. “Why would Hunter be called? Donald Trump should be before that committee.”

I kinda feel bad for Joe.

The media fawned over him for a decade, touting him as part of the greatest administration in the history of the US. Now they've turned on him and he doesn't know why, nor does he know how to handle it.

If he had been asked these questions at the time by an impartial media the country would have been saved this impeachment BS.

No the Dims would have had to work harder to find some other BS to Gotcha Trump.

No he isn't. What else you got, Joe?

I mean, just admit that his only qualification for the job at Burisma is that he had the Vice President of the United States' phone number saved in his iPhone under the contact named "Dad".

Prove me wrong.

Biden has been in the Senate since the early '70's.

He probably really does think there is nothing wrong with the Burisma situation. He's been in the swamp so long he has no idea how the real world is.

Interesting little tidbit.

Jill Biden, the wife of former Vice President Joe Biden, said Monday it was “hard” to continue considering Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) a friend amid his announcement that he intends to investigate her family.

"Well, you know, Lindsey — I don't know what happened to Lindsey. And we used to be great friends and friends with John McCain," Biden said on CNN’s “New Day” Monday, referring to the late senator. "I mean, we traveled together with the Foreign Relations Committee. We've had dinner, you know, and now he's changed."

Asked by CNN’s John Berman if she still considers Graham a friend, Biden responded, "You know, it's hard when you, I don't know, consider somebody a friend and then they've said so many things, so many negative things. And it's — that's been a little hurtful."

He did go to Georgetown and Yale law.. he’s obviously a pretty intelligent guy. Did he benefit from having a famous politician for a dad? Sure, but I don’t think he’s a complete idiot
