Principle alone on that is only $100/month. Not sure of interest rates, but it can’t work out to any more than about $110/month.

I don’t know. If you can’t manage to swing that, maybe you do need to be babied.

That’s about 7 months worth of my payment that I’ve been paying for the past 10 years, minus a small covid pause. Less than 1 year left til freedom though! Will feel so good

Yes. Democrat/Communist strategy is to make every group think they are victims under the status quo. In this case they're going after young college students/college grads that got some worthless degree they can't pay for and are being told it's not their fault- Its the system that's to blame for you not finding an easy 6 figure job with that fine arts degree. But dont worry. Creepy Uncle Joe has your back.

If you look at the credit records of people that default on student loans... their SL is rarely the ONLY or even the largest delinquency. Rewarding irresponsibile behavior will not help them.

I'm generally opposed to these measures, but it's a "better" waste of money than shipping munitions to Ukraine.

How so? If the munitions were manufactured in the US, then that creates jobs the support the local economies. All paying off student loan debt does is send money to banks and remove a liability from a young adult's balance sheet. Do you think those adults will then all of a sudden start to make smart life decisions?

It’s almost as though they’re going for the low-hanging fruit that is the people with the lowest monetary stake in society and have the most proportionately to gain by “social safety net” manipulation, to gain their votes that are equally weighted with those who have put capital and time at risk to grow businesses and work to contribute to the economy and society more broadly.

Almost.

Yay universal suffrage. What could possibly go wrong?

FREE ADVERTISEMENT.

Small details - about 100k people, for some obscure loan program for up to $10-$12k (LMAO) if they paid for 10 years.

I mean these programs are not new.

Do you think Biden created SL debt forgiveness laws and the regulatory scheme?
