Sounds like we need to make the punishment less abstract and more prominent in society. Public executions, public display of criminals, etc would then help, right?

Singapore seems to have figured it out. Stop soft handing little animals at 13 and giving more benefits and excuses. “They are troubled”. So put them in special classes or reform schools that drive up prices for everyone else…that will help it.

Beat their arse early and actually punish them.

And lastly, prison doesn’t need to change anyone. It is meant to separate them from productive non violent people. frick em

Her professional life is based around this topic. It would probably kill her to realize what is self evident to your average logical person. She’d have to realize and accept that her entire professional life was not only meaningless but backwards from reality.

Who would be administering healthcare? Government robots?

Look at your own hysterical reaction. It’s very strong.

A similar reaction will be had by those willing to commit violent crimes. Each effort moves the needle a little bit. We need a lot more like this.

I suspect that I derive a lot more meaning from my professional life than the average poster.

You just tried to equate government employees to a jury of random citizens.

100%

But that’s not a virtue.

You’ve come to the absolute wrong conclusion because the premise to your work is false.

No doubt that it’s meaningful to you though. It resembles religious faith.

Hey Cubbies. I used the search function but I couldn’t find the thread for any of the VICTIMS of the 37 men. What are the thread titles of a few of them ? I’ve got a half hour to kill right now.

Your illogical stance indicates that there is no value in a jury of peers because government is made up of humans.

This is after you tried to make the case that government is incapable of controlling healthcare.

Your arguments don’t survive each other. And your argument is flawed because a jury is the remedy for the problem you tried to inject.

We need more executions for horrific crimes. Whether they deter crime or not, justice needs to be served.
