Notice how they vowed that they would crush the virus if we just got Trump out but now that we're showing signs of improvement and declining cases/severity, they're not leaning into the good news.
In any reasonable world, they're pumping the good news, "the vaccine is working, cases are declining, there's light at the end of the tunnel". Instead the messaging from the Biden admin is "IDK this could last through the year, you're still going to have to distance and mask up after the vaccine, we need masks for at least the next year, we're going to need covid vaccines every year".
Its become a religion. A power grab they can't let go of.
