Biden Resignation Plan???

What’s the Dems plan to force Biden out? How will Newsom be brought in? Will it take Michelle to replace Kamala in order to be more palatable for certain Dems? You know there’s a plan, it’s just a matter of when…

They have to give Joe the nomination first. That way the DNC can hand-select their candidate for the general election without input from their voters.

They’ll keep him upright until just before the convention (after all primaries are done). Then he’ll have a health episode allowing Kamala to “break the glass ceiling” as a lame duck . That’s her payoff for bowing out of picking a new nominee. The convention will coalesce around Newsome in the name of unity in honor of Biden. Michele will not be a part of this. She doesn’t want to be in politics and couldn’t withstand the onslaught. It’s Newsome. It’s not even a secret.

I've been calling Michelle for a couple of years or more - ever since I realized that not even the DEMs are stupid enough to try and foist Kamala off as a competent person.
Michelle won't do shite - just like Biden - she will attend a few official functions and issue whatever the handlers write for her - just like Biden.
Whoever is pulling the strings for Biden will continue with Michelle = same as the ones who controlled Barack --- only difference was that BHO was literate enough to project an attractive image. Neither Joe or Michelle have that capacity, but now they don't need it.
calling ==== meaning predicting

I think the Newsom-DeSantis debate was a trial run, but it didn’t go so well for them.
ETA: Maybe none of this matters anymore, but I think being guv of Cali right now is an anchor around the neck. That place is a shite show on so many levels right now.

They'll probably just kill him after he wraps up the nomination is my guess

Someone doesn’t understand the Constitution

That goes for both parties. Neither of them have to give a frick about what their primary voters say.

Jill Biden will not give up her presidency easily.

But they kinda don’t really wanna piss off their voters considering the general election is still to come.

The RNC let us have Trump even though the establishment hated him. The DNC OTOH played frick-frick games with the primaries twice in a row to ensure that Bernie wasn't their nominee. They're going to do it again.

Disagree. Everyone is silo-d. It’s not 1992 anymore and it never will be again.
None of that 20th century, Aaron Sorkin bullshite applies anymore.
I don’t expect anyone here to see that though. Most of this board still thinks that raw vote totals mean something beyond the trends of larger population and increased voting.

Yes, both parties will put their party winner on the ballot. What point did you think you were making?

Biden announces he stepping down for health right before convention. Convention delegates select Hillary.

bullshite. You really think Michelle wouldn’t try to accept the power and run things?
(1) Attitude of better-than-all-others
(2) First female president
(3) first female black president
(4) husband was president so she has a chip on her shoulder to show you she can do it on her own
(5) idolized by “elites” and celebrities
Add all of these up and you think she would sit back and let someone else pull the strings? Bro….
But Michelle ain’t gonna be a presidential candidate, y’all need to stop acting like she is.

My point was that the RNC will probably let the primaries play out naturally rather than trying to screw Trump out of the nomination. The DNC will thwart the will of their primary voters for a 3rd consecutive time.

With the Super Delegates, they’ll probably make the change at the convention

Michelle Obama isn’t anywhere close to ever being a candidate.
That narrative is just another example of this board being dominated by 50 year old men from the south who follow loser grifters on the internet.

Mmk. The parties can do whatever the frick they want.
There’s no inherent wisdom in either process.
