So basically, screw all those responsible people who worked two jobs and paid their debt off. What a damn joke this Administration is. Trump warned us and he was right

I feel for you young man. In the long run, you will do fine because you understand responsibility! I know it sucks, but continue to support conservative values....and keep your chin up!

If the Biden administration is hell bent on paying people’s bills, pay off medical bills.
College is optional.
Nobody asks to get sick.
Unless we’re talking about the CARES Act’s monetization of COVID positivities by ensuring people who tested positive would still be paid of they had to miss work and would not use all their accrued leave.
THEY were asking for people to get sick.

They should just age the debts out. Anything over 20 years should be forgiven. Roll back the remaining debts to the original amounts and let people refinance balances interest free, with some small relief. Maybe still do the 10k forgiveness.. but they need go change the system going forward so this doesn't happen again..

I know it's no consolation now, but your discipline in paying off your debts will serve you well in your career.

How about we cancel all our debt owed to China? We can say it is that or war because of your damn bioweapon.

Anything in there for the parents of kids who joined the military to pay for college because they couldn’t afford it and were killed?

I feel like now I am the wrong skin color and gender. I got my contract bought out in December in my past job and have had a hard time getting back to work and I am feeling like my lack of success getting hired is because of my gender/skin color.
I have 7 years of experience in my field, 4 years of management experience and yet I am having a hard time getting interviews, when I do get interviews I get ghosted or rejected even though I feel like I did perfectly fine.
I wake up every morning to see more rejection emails in my inbox.
I saved plenty of money and my previous company paid me out the rest of my contract(3 months of pay) so its not like I will be hurting for money any time soon, but it sucks because there are things I want to do like save for a house downpayment and fund my IRAs/Retirement accounts that I can't do when out of work.
It sucks.
I did a lot of hiring at my last job and my superiors even told me that I need to make sure my team was diverse and encouraged me to hire minorities.

Will people who were responsible and paid their loans off get $50,000 checks?

Dang you doctor? I got a Masters and a BA out of 35 grand. But I also paid as I went for the last couple of years.

After graduating from TCU in 2011, I consistently worked 2 jobs every year until 2018 when I finally finished paying off over $100k in loans. I'll never forget when I made that last payment in June 2018 - wrote a check for $5,000 to finish it off.
I feel like me, more than anyone else, has the right to say - frick this. frick everything about this. What about people like me who actually paid them off.
What about people that choose to not take on that debt period, why are we punishing fiscally responsible decisions?
Posted on 4/1/21 at 6:33 pm to 14&Counting
Why just student loan debt. Hell knock 50k off my mortgage or car payments. Or just cut a 50k check
Posted on 4/1/21 at 6:41 pm to 14&Counting
I’d be debt free if that happened. Holy shite
Posted on 4/1/21 at 6:44 pm to Tigers1984
I finally paid mine off 8 years after graduating. I too am curious if I will be reimbursed.
Checks color of skin frick!
