Big protest vote over Israel war. Hamas loving progressives want him to commit to a cease fire. He risks pissing of Jews and others if he does. I’m curious to see how many uncommitted votes get counted.

Joe Biden’s not in trouble in Michigan because Joe Biden won’t be the Democrat nominee.

Exactly. No way the democratic delegates allows him to make it to the General Election. Call a Hail Mary and slide someone else in.

As mentally and physically incapacitated as Biden is, he still gives the dems the best chance in the rust belt—where the race will turn on roughly 44,000 votes. Dems will go with Biden as long as he has a pulse and can say his name on election day.

is Biden obligated to have kamala as his VP, or can he pick someone else?

your thought process makes sense, but i was gonna add that that they may have their "real" candidate as Biden's VP (i.e. Newsome or Michelle), so that if/when Biden's health and well being are no longer at functioning capacity, they'll have the actual candidate ready to go before inauguration day

No, he could make a change at the convention, but ditching Kamala would be tough since she’s part of a protected class—Black and also intellectually disabled.

George Will wrote an op ed saying Biden needed to fix his Veep problem like FDR did in ‘40.

Maybe he can pick an illegal alien and sew up that vote. Or he could double down on the dead vote and French vote and pick Mitterrand. Maybe that is why they met not long ago.

As stated above, he could choose anyone else. It’s his decision. Consider it a firing of Kamala if he were to pick anyone else. Would not go well with Democratic voters. They love some diversity.

serious question... Does Biden have the ability to grant voting rights to illegal immigrants? by november, Biden can say "ya know what, all these illegals have been here for so long, they should have voting rights."

all those illegals will vote blue, and Texas will vote democrat, and voila. even if Michigan goes red, Texas will become democrat due to the sheer number of illegals being given voting privileges

I would think it would have to go through Congress, then Senate.

Now if you plan on letting illegals fill voting cards and it gets counted you have a big problem on your hands. I think the border was their next attempt of trying to replicate a SARS-CoV-19 for votes. You will see more bad issues in the future from the Democratic Party. They are going to cause ruckus in order to be voted in.

Biden is not going to be the nominee and I've said this for over a year. A new poll today had Trump +6 in Maine of all places.

I agree. The numbers are not in favor of Biden. Now will he be in the General? We will not know until August. Dems will slide someone in there at the last minute in hope of them speaking and save the country. No one will be able to get any dirt on the replacement. Very little TV time. If it’s Gavin Newsome the race heats up. Dems are that screwed up in the head to elect him.

But I was told the only reason Biden won was because Trump was so loathsome.

If they dump Biden now that theory is sunk and dims basically admit the truth about rigging the election
